Well, here I am in DC and so far it seems that the show is going well.   I also happened to find an apartment in Arlington, VA near the Pentagon to hold up for at least the next year. 

The apartment is nice I guess…as far as studio apartments go.  The upshot is that it’s pretty cheap rent for the area, it’s close to downtown, and most importantly I don’t have to share with a roommate. 

The job front is a little sketchy right now.  I’m not sure what I’ll be doing to get through the next few months.  This is of course assuming I get the job at the new theatre that opens in August, The Harmon Kardon Center of the Performing Arts.  If that doesn’t work out then I must assume I will be freelancing my ass off in the mean time.  Not something I look forward to, I’d much rather have a steady gig and make a little less money.   We’ll see though….too soon to really get worried about it. 

I’m on day 3 of quitting smoking and everything seems to be going ok.  Well…I cheated last night and had a smoke with my Makers and coke.  It was just one though and I haven’t smoke any today.  As long as I keep myself busy it all doesn’t seem so bad.

The zoo was a lot of fun yesterday.  Might as well see all of Houston I can before I’m out of here.  I’m still struggling with a few things in the J department but, I think I am going to be ok.

As luck would have it as I was about to buy smokes at Walgreens I noticed that the good type of Nicotine gum was on sale.  GREAT DEAL.  I have been trying to quit all year but with everything that has been happening with JD I’d fall back into it.

Well now that it seems things with here are long over and I have my heart under control now is the best time ever to quit.  I think I can only handle quiting one thing at a time, her and smoking was way too much to handle.

So…I quit.  I should be able to keep this rolling this time around.
