Jason Tratta is a Sound Designer, Engineer, Composer, and Bassist. His work has been heard on and off Broadway and at many of the Regional Theatres throughout the United States. He is currently on staff at the Shakespeare Theatre Comany at the Harman Center for the Arts in Washington, D.C as the Live Mix Engineer.

Jason began learning classical bass in the 3rd grade. What started out as a cool way to get out of class ended up leading him to where he is today. Late in high school and into the college years, he worked with an indie band called ‘Midian’…and later ‘Midian Rose’. Art Mayes and Jason also worked in new bands called ‘Noon Blue Apples’ and, eventually, ‘Otherland‘.
