Here she is.
Here is my 2006 Triumph Bonneville. It all started with a visit to the local dealer to look at the new 09′s and they had this decked out beauty on the floor. The plan had been to wait until March or April to buy a bike and seeing as I don’t have my license to ride yet makes this purchase even funnier. I found a funny quote on one of the forums I frequent.
“Buying a bike in winter is like buying a box of condoms 2 months before your first date.”
It’s true. I have been out on it a few times thanks to a friend of mine who rides. However, with a new show about to open at work it looks like I won’t be able to really get it all together until April. It’s pretty insane how fast the Motor Cycle Safety Foundation classes got booked in March…so..now I wait.
This bike it loaded with extras the new ones don’t come with. This bike has extra chrome, a windshield, engine guard, aftermarket shocks, custom pikes (which are as loud as the apocalypse) and even a cigarette lighter in the dash. There are also a lot of other little touches that made this a great deal. Out the door, the bike has 2400 miles on it. Amazing.
Now….if I could only just get on the road….
