[photopress:bus.jpg,thumb,pp_image] I remember when I use to go out on field trips in school. It was great! You got to get out of school (which was really the best part) and sometimes you might see some cool stuff. TEACHERS!: SAP FARMS ARE NOT FUN OR VERY EDUCATIONAL! Today was an interesting day that had me thinking about simpler times. You know…maybe you had your boyfriend/girlfriend that you would hang out with, didn’t have to worry about bills…and your day was pretty much over at 3pm everyday. Ya I know…I’m trying to forget about all the bad stuff. Your all cool in my book…wanna join my club!? Don’t tell anyone I play D&D OK?

Well…it has been over a month now that I started working at the Alley Theatre in Houston, TX but, this site needs something on it. Besides…the audio clip above is clearly theatre related. I had stepped out of theatre design for a while to take a job as an Entertianment Manager at a casino. While the people I worked with there were great, the job itself sucked a lot of the time.
I have been wanting to get back to sound work for a long time. Now that I’m here and have been working…I can tell you that I feel like a whole new person.

Hanging outside the Turkish Festival yesterday in Houston I was gathering some pretty cool sounds. Apparently, even a guy with a microphone is a possibility. I honestly don’t carry any cash for me…what you can’t hear is him smile at me like I’m lying. I seriously didn’t even have quarters on me…I have nearly totally converted to just using my bankcard for everything. It’s handy ya know…. I use to have giant change jars… but no more!
The Turkish festival looked pretty cool. There was a little girl there in a gold cape that had to be dancing like crazy for hours on end. I really loved how this concert sounded across the street in a cement tunnel. Good times.
